Humanity is undergoing an intense transformation. Regeneration of our planet beyond the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals is needed. Let’s find out what it takes to preserve our rainforests and plant the largest forest on earth!
We are a diverse group of educators, indigenous leaders, youth and storytellers that are on a learning journey called Cobra Canoa.
We traveled through Brazil for 10 days, from September 29th to October 8th, learning with traditional communities how to use modern technology to regenerate our planet.
In parallel we hosted a series of significant conversations - the Digital Hikoi: Weaving a journey through our synchronized online space.
Through this process, we are creating an interactive learning documentary engaged between a global web of local activists to broadcast worldwide for other communities looking to adopt regenerative practices based on wisdom traditions.
We plan on continuing to create these journeys and are already planning for the next one while simultaneously creating the documentary!

WHAT are the specific items that we raise funds to support?
- 3,000 EUR to compensate the indigenous leaders and educators who joined our 10 days journey, Airtravel, bus and transport from/to the villages, accommodation, food
- 1,300 EUR to create a fair exchange with traditional communities that we are going to visit (cooking dinners for our guests, transportation to the communities, working materials)
- 3,200 EUR to finish up our documentary (Sound, graphic animation, production, research)
- 2,500 EUR for creating the structure of our virtual learning journey (design, hosting platforms, facilitation and social media)
- If we make more than our goal, we would be wildly appreciative because the team has already been working day and night on a budget of less than 700 euros a month, everyone working has so far been doing so as a labor of love because they believe that this project needs to happen regardless of financial gain... yet it has been ultimately volunteer-run and the folks involved have personally invested countless hours and over 11,000 euro, over the past 2 years, of personal funds. It will allow these families and dedicated individuals to be able to continue to create more projects like this one via the Beyond Us model of education, adaptation, and community building-- which is only just beginning!
All sponsors will receive credits within the documentary!
Meet the Team!
Larissa Borges
I grew up between the capital of Brasil and the vast landscape of its countryside. I lived and worked in various foreign countries in the past 17 years and understood my role in bridging cultures and creating awareness for the protection of the Earth and the people who are bound to it. Searching for ways to make this connection, I did a Masters in Sustainable Development, and had the opportunity to meet indigenous people and communities from whom I have been learning and integrating nature’s wisdom, and ways to respectfully treat the planet within its diversity, for the well-being of all life. I believe in bridging culture and diversity in union, with synergy of ancient and today’s practices, to envision our present and future in harmonic balance with the Earth.
